Hello there, dear readers. I just want to thank you all for being so patient with me. I really want to get this legacy moving, but computer issues, blah blah, unoriginal excuses. I do have one issue to discuss very quickly before we get the ball rolling. I’m going to need a new computer soon, so once I get one, it might be a little while before I get to play. But I’m going to try my best to get as much playing done before I rid myself of this ancient monstrosity as I possibly can. Well, enough of this computer nonsense. On with the chapter!
Last time on the Kanto legacy, the demon twins finally became young adults!
Bronzong has been spending all of his available time painting. He is SOOO close to maxing out the skill.
Gala is attempting to raise her cooking skill so she can get a promotion. I don’t think I mentioned it last time, but I used her LTH points to change her LTW. She now wants to reach the top of her career.
Wait, what’s Klink doing home from boarding school?
That’s right, we’ve moved. The Kantos now reside in the lovely Moonlight Falls. Ever since I reinstalled everything, this save file would freeze up immediately after starting, so I thought (hoped) moving them would help. It did. But that does mean you’ve missed a couple of things. The twins graduated, and they moved in with the Pinchers.
Being an inappropriate Sim and always insulting both of his brothers, I feel like this fits Steelix rather perfectly.
Of course our little evil genius would be the class val. Although somehow, I can’t help but think she was only voted most popular because everyone is scared of what she’d do to them if they didn’t.
Almost immediately after moving, Minnie and Heri moved into their own house, away from his family, leaving poor Steelix alone with people he doesn’t even know.
I think he’s doing pretty well for himself though. You go, guy!
I sent Klink out on an adventure to explore the town and meet the locals.
Klink: I like to ride my bicycle 😀
While he’s here….
Klink: Come here, my pretties…
Klink: O. M. G. There are so many plants here to harvest!!! This is so exciting!!!
Are you sure you aren’t a secret gardener?
Klink: Nope, just excitable 🙂
Oh, look who’s here. I believe this was before Minnie and Heri moved out, so they all came as a family.
As you can see, Minnie hasn’t changed at all.
Minccino: Mwahahaha, I’m going to make that innocent little astronaut’s rocket shoot off tonight!
While Klink is off having fun on the town and her hubby is hard at work painting, Gala gets to do household chores.
Gala: Being reduced to such tasks…it’s all I can do to just grin and bear it…
Our heir decides to spend some quality time with his siblings while they’re both in the same place.
Klink: I hope there’s no hard feelings, sis. You’re still a star in my book.
Minccino: Your kind words do nothing but further fuel my hatred toward you, brother.
Penny: And to think that my son could have been a legacy spouse! Oh, we would have been famous!
Maybe he’ll have better results with Steelix.
Klink: Hey bro, I know I’m the heir and all, but you’re still the creator’s favorite…so…no hard feelings?
Steelix: I was destined to be heir, you little twerp. I’m gonna whip your ass if you don’t get out of here in five seconds.
Penny: So, future daughter in law, have you any ideas on how to rid your family of your pest of a little brother so you may shine as the rightful heir?
Minccino: I was thinking we should drown him in a nearby pond and send his body down the river so as never to be found.
Steelix: Oh hey, are we talking about ways to off our brother?
Pincher Girl: Mother, that weird boy is intruding again…
Penny: He’s next…
In other news, Bronzong has completed a brilliant painting! Now go start another one! You’re so close…
Back in the park, Klink is talking to the Pincher girl whose name I forgot.
Klink: So…how are you taking to the move?
Pincher Girl: Well, I…wait a second…aren’t you the youngest son of that crazy artist?
Klink: Now hold on just a minute, my dad is NOT crazy. He’s just…eccentric. And he’s painted some fabulous artwork, which is more than you’ll ever do in your lifetime of not being controlled by the creator!
Easy there, Klink. I don’t think her slightly rude comment warranted that harsh a rebuttal. On a different note…
WTF? Why is this…I don’t even…(no, I have never turned elder pregnancy on, so it must just be a glitch. and a damn weird one at that…)
Bronzong: Hey babe, how about we go not make babies together?
Gala: Sounds wonderful, honey pie!
And not make babies they did.
Bronzong, you’re tired. You can go to sleep now, you know.
Bronzong: No, thank you. Instead, I wish to dwell on the thought that I am soon going to be joining my wife in the elder life state.
It’s true. His birthday is tomorrow.
Our little Klink is up bring and early for a midnight snack.
Klink: Nothing beats a good ol’ PB+B sandwich in the morning.
After eating and washing his dishes, the helpful little bugger decided to clean the stove. He’s always been so tidy considering he’s not a neat Sim.
Klink: Just trying to make you love me.
He has a little while before school starts, so he can enjoy himself for a while. He deserves it.
Bronzong: Oh, peanut butter and banana again?
Gala: I hope you aren’t dissing my cooking skills again, dear husband.
Bronzong: Oh, hehe, what I meant to say was, I absolutely adore peanut butter and banana! You’re the best, darling!
Gala: Thought so…
The bus never came for Klink, so he has to ride his bike to school. I don’t think he minds too much thought.
Klink: Weeee, bike time!
After returning home from an uneventful day at school, Klink calls up some girl. I didn’t write down her name, so she must not be that important.
Although she is pretty cute.
Klink: Gee whiz, I’m talking to an actual girl!
Klink: I’m sorry, but I can’t take you around the world. We don’t have World Adventures…
Klink: I’m outdoors, it’s hot outside, and there’s a creepy evil gnome staring at me…could this day get any worse?..
There is a perfectly good dining room table that you could use to do your homework on, but no. You chose to be outside. So there.
Time for Bronzong’s birthday, everybody!
Bronzong: I wish to stay super mega foxy awesome hot even in my elderly days.
Gala: Yay, now I won’t be the only old bag in this house!!!
Aren’t you gonna come cheer on your father?
Klink: No. I am rebelling. Because I am a rebel.
Our last look at adult Bronzong, guys. Say so long!
Tada! What do you guys think? I figured he’d be the type to try and look all young and wild even when he’s all wrinkly.
Bronzong: I hate it! I wanna be young again!
If you guys don’t like the look, I’m not too attached to it, so I can change it.
Our first heir sits down to a nice meal with his family. Considering the wacked out schedules these guys are on, this may be the last meal the full family ever gets to enjoy together…Gala is nearing the end…
On a lighter note, I have procured candy! Who will feast upon these fine delicacies?
Our first volunteer.
Bronzong: Hard candy? But I wanted chocolate….
Klink went home with Bailey Swain after school the next day.
And then it started to rain.
Bailey’s cute and all, but I will have no Kristen Stewarts in my legacy. Klink sent himself home shortly after being invited into the garage.
Gala’s boss invited her to a formal gathering at her humble abode.
Gala: You mean a party?!? OMG, I love parties!!!
Gala: I’m here for the party, guys!…guys?…
Bronzong has been tirelessly working on that dang skill. I had hoped this would be the one. It wasn’t…
Hours after arriving, Gala finally gets invited inside…the garage.
Gala: I’m here for the party! Thanks so much for inviting me!
Gala’s Boss: Yeah, party’s over. Get out.
Yes, finally! At long last! The first Sim of the legacy to master a skill! Now we just need to get cracking on that guitar skill, and he’ll be golden!
Well, I think that’s as good a place as any to stop for today. Thanks so much for reading and for bearing with me through all the mini hiatuses. I hope you all have a great night!
